Cherry follows a 25-year-old Millennial as she spends 24 aimless hours deciding whether to get an abortion for her surprise pregnancy. Incredibly, the film premiered at last year's Tribeca Film Festival (where it won the Audience Award) at almost the exact time that a leaked report confirmed the impending Supreme Court decision to overturn Roe v. Wade. It's remarkable, almost cosmic timing that cements Cherry in the history books.
